Smell: I've tried Pineapple Express several times and each time the smell fills up the whole room haha. Definitely LOUD PACK Certified (check mark). If you're living at home or in another persons space definitely worth keeping in a sealed jar if you can.
Taste: The taste is in the name, as rare as that sounds. Extremely smooth, I smoke flower with papers or blunts. Cough friendly forsure, if you're not a fan of the "marijuana" taste you won't have that here, very appealing and fruity.
Roll-ability: 10/10, this may be a weird field to review but if you love the art of rolling, doesn't matter how fresh a strain may be, some just don't let you get those perfect L joints, cones, blunts etc.
High: You can view the effects I personally felt while smoking Pineapple Express (Creative, Energetic, Focused, Talkative). Extremely talkative and focused, as I went from just talking about work and making jokes for ages with the hommie, then straight to playing cards and winning obviously with the aided focus. Very nice balanced hybrid where you can enjoy a productive day with no down moments because hey, you're high, be happy.

Pineapple Express is yet another Hawaiian strain shrouded in mystery and myth, her unknown origins thought to remain a secret lost at the beach in the sands of time...
Mahalo (Thanks) to evolving laws and attitudes around the globe breeders who once remained safely in the shadows can now step out into the light in order to shed some light on the histories of the most legendary strains of all time!
Pineapple Express was created by a old school Hawaiian breeder from Hawi in the Kohala district on da Big Island of Hawai'i.
Anyone familiar with Hawaiian Pakalolo knows the most unique and wondrous tropical terpenes are excreted in abundance, one of the reasons you will find a Hawaiian ancestor in the genetic lineage of many of the most popular strains on Earth.
Kona Gold, a champion Hawaiian sativa strain from Kailua-Kona west side Big Island, has a sweet Hawaiian honey scent cut with pineapple and a hint of sour lemon.
When Trainwreck arrived on Big Island in bud form a few seeds were found in a pound and grown up north shore Big Island in Hawi.
Trainwrecks 1st season being cultivated on Big Island was a little rough as many non-Hawaiian strains can take a few seasons to acclimate to our tropical climate.
Trainwreck faired mo betta than many strains perhaps due to her Mexican x Afghan x Thai heritage and our Big Island 'Ohana (Family) decided to keep her around -- they also decided to pollinate a branch with some Kona Gold pollen to see what would happen...
What happened is an incredible chapter in the hashy hazy history of our favorite medicinal burning bush!!
Pineapple Express circled the globe via the jet stream in returning visitors luggage and made her way to Hollywood where her cousin Maui Wowie chills to star in her own major motion picture!!!
Pua Mana 'Ohana can now share these legendary genetics and origin story with you and your 'Ohana (Family) Mahalo (Thanks) to a holiday gathering on the island of O'ahu and a gift of a Pineapple Express poster from our 'Ohana (Family) at Leafly who sparked a epic conversation as we were sparking epic doobies that led to our Big Island 'Ohana (Family) making a call to his Uncle up in Hawi who still had the original strain, though Uncle now calls it Hawaiian Shipwrek as he was not a big fan of the movie and did not feel like arguing about the ancestry of a strain he created with everyone who had heard a different .
Pineapple Express, Hawaiian Shipwreck or any name you want to give to this amazing strain is fine with us just pass that stuff so we can all have another puff...
#PineappleExpress
It starts with a very slow onset, then it ramps up gradually.
It may be a good idea to smoke a little and wait. This was a very happy strain, mellow but definitely not weak. The smoke is rather smooth and sweet tasting. I find that I really want to talk...this is way more thought provoking than laughter inducing. A really enjoyable and cerebral experience.
I recently discovered that Pineapple Express is perfect for doing lots of yard work all day long. It only slows me down a little bit, but over all it kept me slogging along with happy thoughts. Nice.

Love this strand. I was very active. Definitely got me out the house. Great for hiking and going to a theme park. Have you ever ride el torro high af. Lol
Smoked a bowl this morning to wake up. The smell is a little unfamiliar at first because there's a lot going on. I could detected a fruity aroma, picked up on the highlighted apple-mango hints a bit, also thought it smelled a little like butterscotch and slightly spicy. Thought that the first couple hits were quite nice. After two or three inhales, the peppery bite of caryophyllene had me coughing. Not a bad thing, just something I notice when this is one of the prevalent terpenes. Only gave three stars because it was my first smoke of the day and I felt very little effect. This particular batch tested at over 23% THC and is labeled as a sativa hybrid. The effects I did feel were mostly a light body tingling and a bit of a head euphoria.
Great daytime strain for any type of "fun" oriented activity like video games, outdoor sports, etc. Go have an adventure with this stuff, you won't be disappointed.
Energizing and fairly euphoric.
It wasn't the best strain I've ever had, but it was definitely a great experience. It was the kind of strain that just chills you out and makes you wanna just vibe out. I was in a car most of the time I smoked this, so I kept wanting the person to turn up the music and the colors of the melody just floated by. I also smoked this before work, and during work I felt very at ease and it was easier for me to be pleasant with customers who would generally make me want to kill someone. Also, as with most strains, although this doesn't make much of a different compared to others, it makes it easier to smile. The happiness boost is no where's near as powerful as something like Kush, but it's there regardless. I'd still recommend this, but it definitely isn't my favorite.
