This is my #1 favorite strand of all time. It's a pure and very intense sativa and she behaves live one with an intense cerebral head high. Physically, it doesn't make me tired but I do feel a bit tingly. EXCELLENT strain for enjoying music.
Love smoking Durban Poison especially when I wake and bake. It really gets me ready for the day ahead. Nothing like DP to make me feel more awake, excited and happy. Great strain to pair with a cup of coffee.
I went to my local dispensary and they had a deal on Durban Poison. I had never tried it before, but I wanted to get it and let you guys know how it is!
-Look: Nicely packed green buds covered in orange hairs and dusted in what looks like a sheet of fine, white powder. The stems aren't too large or intrusive.
-Smell: It is a simple but great combination of citrus, classic skunk, and a hint of sweetness to round it out. Love the smell
-Taste: Honestly, the taste is more mild than I expected. It has a lovely earthy and skunky note. Instead of trying to hide the flavors traditionally associated with cannabis, they enhanced them and they did it well. It leaves a nice lightly smokey aftertaste
-Effects: Immediately I feel uplifted and wanting to accomplish tasks, but it takes me a bit longer to get mentally prepared as I will forget what I was doing. I could see this working to your advantage if you set yourself reminders.
-Conclusion: I love this strain. It has a great overall smell and taste and it makes you feel great. Light up a bowl of this and be prepared to get some stuff done!

Durban Poison is my favorite social or daytime get going and enjoy life flower. I like to keep the thc around 24 for my best results. Not the best one for crazy pain, but won't let you down on mild pain days and is excellent for general stress, anxiety and over all mood. Will always recommend, just wish my ATC would grow.
Gives an electrifying, euphoric high. DP has tight, cone-shaped buds with a distinctive, pungent aroma of resin and pine. Great for mood elevation, getting creative, and partying. Moderate pain relief and excellent appetite stimulation. One word of caution: DP doesn't make me less anxious if that's the way I'm feeling. It does, however, heighten my senses to a much higher degree than other strains. Durban Poison is absolutely one of my all-time favorites.
Used this for the first time in a vape pen while on a mini vacation...LOVED IT!!! Bud Tender at AZNM recommended it since I would be flying and it would be easier to pack then flower and they were right on. also in the smoke free hotel it is almost odorless and smoke less. As far as the strain Durban poison goes it was very effective kept focused yet relaxed on our busy trip
I had heard about this strain for nausea control and wanted to try it. Found some at Oregon's Finest in PDX. Visually, this sample has smallish, tightly packed buds, that are medium green, with dark brown hairs interspersed lightly. There are white crystal forests all over the surfaces. A little difficult to grind because of the density and resin. Vaping at 380 produced a light vapor, which tasted mostly of pine, and made me want to cough on occasion. First few hits over five minutes did almost nothing. However, this strain is a creeper. After 5-10 minutes I began to get the familiar sativa brain-hug and spaceyness. It made me want to smile. This is a very uplifting strain. It made me appreciate sounds more vibrantly. Would be a good strain for listening to music or enjoying nature. It completely alleviated my nausea, but didn't make me want to eat everything in sight, which is rare. Not really good for pain control, other than as a distraction. Didn't make me sleepy at all. No anxiety or paranoia. Overall, a good solid uplifting, daytime medicine for nausea, anxiety, depression, etc.
me and my husband smoked this strain then spent hours fucking. blissfully active and tingley.
