bomb af , have this packed af in my fat capsal filled , smoking blunts everyday.
Got my current batch of OG Kush straight from the grower. The buds look really airy and fluffy, but a light squeeze proves otherwise. the calyxes are very strong and densely populated with trichs. This particular pheno has occasional streaks of very vibrant purple, which is supposedly rare. Visible in the picture I've included, but a phone camera can only do so much... When you look at most of the buds from the top, it looks darker than if you look at it from the bottom. The solid orange hairs contrast the buds in a similar manner to chemdawg. this, along with the purple, can create an illusion of the presence of a deep blue hue on the top of the leaves.
The smell is a very earthy sweet (sort of like the morning after a rainy night), combined with a floral perfumey lotiony punch to it. From a distance, you can slightly detect the chemdawg's unique musky smell in your throat, if that makes sense. On the grind, it smells very earthy and almost sickeningly sweet.
The taste is exactly like the smell on the inhale. the earthy sweetness will coat your entire mouth and throat and will linger for quite some time. there's an occasional subtle dull bitterness on the exhale.
it's really hard to notice the bitterness though, because almost instantly you will be all the right kinds of high. the body high is very intense and goes well with the lazy-but-motivated attitude this bud tends to provide. great source of inspiration for beating a whole game or being creative. despite gradually becoming couch-locky, it won't really put you to sleep as effectively as something like purple kush because it will get your brain and heart going.
all in all a great strain, with the onset of a sativa and eventually a lingering high of an indica. the high lasts a very long time and fades away comfortably. the high popularity of this strain comes from it's unique and easily-recognizable smell and from it's A+ superior bag appeal.
love this strain really euphoric and its the original og come on that Shit is tight.
Very good high. I was relaxed and hungry best high.
ive been waiting 2 long years to try out this masterpiece. and i, for one, am not disappointed. perfect combo of mind, body, uplifting, tiredness, chill, relaxed, talking, hunger, and so much more. this is a throat burner if you dont have a long filter, smells very sweet, almost like cotton candy but i cant put my finger on it. in the grinder, it is nonstop cracking and tearing. need a lot of force to grind it down. its an intense catch up. about 4 hits in and a wall of all 3 previous hits hits you and the slow escalation begins. my favorite amongst the other several strains i have had.
This is a good strain that is common in new york city. OG kush is more slightly on the energetic side then the indica, couch potato type high. Although, the uplifting properties don't outweigh the indica feel too much.
rock hard frost coated pine scented nuggets with that OG candied skunk diesel with slight lemon undertone. tingling sensations travel from my heart to my head while leaving a residual shift in consciousness. stress avoided by being in a slightly different state of comprehending emotions. Not too high up - body feels good - lasts a few hours - being heavily medicated seems to be balanced and never too overwhelming to cause sleep or jitters. OG puts you on your own level.
