Got me tripping like a melon

I have read articles in older (early to mid 80's) High Times, and been around the country quite a bit, first time I have ever read that this strain started in Washington?!?! Not to exhibit nationalism in any way... To my knowledge, Northern Lights has been grown outdoor in Wisconsin, Upper Michigan/Northern Michigan, Canada and Minnesota since around 77'-78'. I can actually PROVE that it was being grown in central Wisco by 1979 bc I have a collection of growers notes/notebooks which details the different methods used over a 17yr. op that resulted in the now infamous cold weather resistance that the strain is known for. I think these cats were also some of the first guys using CO2 on their indoor experiments too (1980?)! I don't want to argue at all, just didn't expect to not see Wisconsin on this description bc as far as I have traveled for many years, you tell a good grower you are from Wisco, and they ALWAYS ask about their chances of getting some "REAL NL SEEDS"?!?! One of the best strains I've had. The body high is amazing and your thoughts aren't too buzzy. The batch i have is very potent so a little goes a long way. Only negatives about this strain is the dry mouth, dry eyes, dry nose, as well as the sleepiness which can be both good and bad. The dryness is worse than any other strain i've ever tried, but the amazing high cancels it out. After the high goes down you will only want to go to sleep. I made the mistake of smoking this earlier today around 3 and it's now 9 I've just been slumped all day. This strain has potential to slow you down rather than speed you up like sativas. This makes it a great strain for thinking about life because you can stay on your thoughts without them going 10000 miles per hour.

If you like to or need to smoke weed, or just want to try it out, this is perfect. Classic, textbook bad-ass funk that will permeate you as much as the stench does wherever you smoke. Unbeatable high.

I'm floating...drifting away into the sun set surrounded by a fog of Northern Lights. This was some of the best weed I have smoked, perfect 5/5. This is a very smooth strain and pretty strong. Definitely would recommend this strain to anyone.

Mmm, this' a very good strain for nitey nite. Migraine pain was just beginning. Nausea was 6 when I medicated round 2130. Pain nausea gone now. NO ANXIETY/PARANOIA. Head high moderate/strong but very smooth. Not too much. Body high could not be better. Tastes like lemon candy. I need to go nitey nite now. Maybe best to date sleepy buds. Love me some Northern Lights! :-)
