This is an update to my earlier review in which I described using a small amount for pain and sleep. Yesterday based on my success with NL I smoked maybe 6 or 7 hits. The result was more of an active sativa type high with detailed elaborate thoughts. Zero couch lock effect. Very difficult to fall asleep for 4 hours. Also dry mouth pretty bad. Conclusion for me is that while NL can have favorable sleep effects the dose is very important. For sleep try very small amounts and if successful stick with that amount.

First of all, I am NOT a indica smoker. But I give this 5 stars just outta respect for the absolute beat down of a high it put on me! I have been a sativa guy for 40 years of smoking, and can count on one hand the number of times I've smoked indica. But, I had to try this on a trip up North. I mean, Northern Lights is a LEGEND, so how could I not? I left out of my hotel room to take a little walk, and relax with pre-roll of this. I lit up, took a couple monster rips off that fattie, and before I knew it, I was hammered. LIke SERIOUSLY hammered. I know why it's so famous...Northern Lights is no joke. I was 1/4 way though the blunt, and had to put it out. I don't remember walking back to my hotel and my room. I haven't been this stoned since I was 15 at the old gorge back home in the 70's. This put my ass down on the couch, and there I stayed for the next 5 hours, unable to move. I smoked a little more of that blunt a couple days later, with the same effect. Honestly, I couldn't even finish it, and ended up tossing half the pre-roll. I guess I'm just not cut out to be an indica guy! lol

AKA Aurora Borealis. Gives a dream like state of mind. It's a very green and very frosty bud with lots of dark orange hairs. Earthy Pine flavor with a musky smell with undertones of zesty lemon-lime. I have a high-tolerance and this strain takes care of any ailments I'm having very quickly and efficiently. Always a good strain to keep in the medication bag.

An oldie but goodie. One of the first truly dank flowers I smoked almost 15 years ago. Have had this strain many times and it never lets me down. One of my favorite nighttime flowers. Strong earthy tasting smoke. One good bowl and you will be ready to relax and not let anything bother you.

I am teenage male who has tried a variety of different strains, but none of which add up to possibley the two best days of my life when i got high on northern lights for 48 hours straight with my friends. the ask me every time we light up a blunt: better than northern lights? because this strain is very hard to beat. Great body and head high all round, euphoric, relaxed, happy, smiley, excited and tired and emotions i can recall. however (for consideration) one friend was extreamily paranoid to this strain but he gets like that most the time. All in all great value and im still in search, blue cheese comes close but has an unpleasnt taste and smell in comparison to the sweet citrus flavour of northern lights :)
