This strain gets you to cloud nine fast, makes you hella relaxed, I almost tapped out from this, definitely a top shelf strain and I'd say best used in joints on a sunny afternoon

Great strain. Always excited when I see this on the board. I know I'll be well rewarded with an enhanced meditation/yoga practice and a feeling of deep contentment no matter what I end up doing after. Perfect for yin, meditation, contemplation and savasana.

A classic. I've had this strain many times, and the most reliable constant seems to be the understated sweet hay scent that Northern Lights reliably presents. Strength of the effect is typically strong but not overwhelming--this would be a good strain for newer users to see what indicas have to offer without getting an instant KO punch.

Sampled some nice outdoor, dark buds, very powerful stuff.. I climbed through the sunset like a cave.. heavy time slowing effect. like my brain is made of mud, but the nice mud... not that cheap gravel

It is an amazing very joyful high. Also makes your body feel great

This was my first experience with an indica and happened was the second strain I ever smoked. First the taste is amazing this sweet, tangy and fiery mix. second after about five minutes it floors you. its a very potent strain and one of my favourites second only to orange kush

This one is my favorite! I suffer from severe neuropathy in legs and Northern Lights really helps me get out of bed each day. I'm also a painter and this one keeps me feeling creative and motivated when I'm at the easel.

[1/8/2014] I am a beginner Smoker. I wanted my girl to smoke this with me, but she doesn't like to. I, of course, did not force her. I smoked one bowl and it worked almost immediately (5 minutes). Also note-worthy: the hits were very smooth. I was pleasantly surprised. After three-and-a-half hits (1 bowl for me), I stayed with my girl, who was watching TV, and thought I was going to get couch-locked one minute into sitting and watching TV next to her; but, I managed to get up because I wanted to lay down and chill. After putting on some music, I got into bed alone and closed my eyes and prepared for the ride! The music was good; it aided in putting me in a good, euphoric, and aroused mood. During the high, I experienced a nice tingling sensation. In addition, my head would move in rhythmic and dynamic patterns along with the beat of the music. The high lasted long enough for me to enjoy--and be satisfied with--the ride, before I noticed it going away. Even so, I managed to sleep right away with no troubles. Going to go for a ride again tonight! [1/9/2014] Night #2... I have to mention the tingly body high again. It felt great and lasted a good while. But after reading other Northern Lights strains, I am convinced that what I took is either Northern Lights #5 or Atomic Northern Lights. I'll find out someday...I'm leaning towards Atomic NL because of the tingly effect that I experienced. [1/11/2014] [Edit] I definitely took Atomic Northern Lights. The most prominent effects I have felt were being Aroused and Tingly. ANL is a must-try!
