Not a bad one, there are definitely better out there. This strain is great for those who want to sit back after a long day and relax/zone out. You aren't quite couch locked, but you have a dizziness if you get up and move around.

my absolute favorite strain hands down! it may not be the most potent, but a mixture of good weed and a best friend is far superior than the best weed and no friend hahaha. heres the story..... i was at my best friends house in mid august, in newhampshire ( just so you get the feel of the good times ) and his grandmother had bought a new dodge charger ( red ) and we had 20 bucks. and his dad HOOKED US UP! we got a bag the width of my thumb and the length of my middle finger, PACKED with GDP. i knew it was GDP based on its unique smell. and his father later confirmed. any way, we took his one hitter ( our only peice at the time hahaha, but it was his dads for about 15 years before it was passed down to us!) and we packed about 3 of those, each one yeilded about 2 milky rips each, or 4 milky rips for one. and we were chilling listening to kid cudi's Up Up and away, having a blast, when all of a sudden, insane clown posse's boogy woogy song came on. ( btw, we we didnt listen to icp but it was on there from when we did, and if you dont know, its about the boogy man and he kills people.) and as the song came on, we both got sketched out! then one icp started singing " boooogy wwwooooogy wooooggyy woooooooo" the lights in the garage turned off, and we both almost shit our pants! we listened to the song, and we both had the feeling that he was gunna get us, so we kept the door open so the light would stay on, but it keeps shutting off to save power, so we had to keep shutting the door, then opening it, but his grandmother kept hearing it, and we didnt know. so she came out without us knowing, and just as the song was wrapping up, his grandmother knocks on the window! we both screamed like little girls.... then broke out in laughter hahahahaha. good times.

Would be a 9 but just makes me too sleepy. A little too potent for my taste. Tastes like a purple. Music sounds swell. Excellent night time use, not so much for daytime smoking I would think. Really helped my sciatica though, so I may keep some around.

Many people have said good things about this strain so I picked up an 80 sack to try it out. It was a good high but the itensity only lasted for maybe 30 minutes and then it just faded and I was couch locked. It's good if you want to pass out but I didn't like it much. High was too short.

Granddaddy Purp is a classic for sure. As one of the top, pure indica buds, it's a great bud for most medical needs. I use it to treat insomnia primarily, but it is also very effective when treating nausea or pain. As I understand it, GDP is a variation on the ultimate classic: Purple Urkel. For me, I prefer the original Purple Urkel over the GDP, even if the "look" of it is not as frosted. But, it seems to be much less common these days. I also find that less expensive or less potent versions of GDP are perfectly fine for insomnia, pain or nausea. So, no need to buy the high end GDP.

This strain was some pretty strong stuff! Not the strongest I've ever had, but close to it. G.D.P. had a nice long lasting buzz with lots of thoughts whirling through my head. It did make me a little sleepy, and the body warmth helped my fatigue, but my head was nice and busy but numbed with the effects of this Indica. It also definitely gave me serious munchies. All in all, I think this was one of those perfect strains to kick back and relax, eat some snacks, and watch a good thought provoking movie, or read a like book. I would love to have this strain again.

GDP is a very trippy high that turns into euphoria, with a rising body high the whole time. You move off baseline immediately after smoking, but the full high usually takes its time to come on. Very chill, but with a nice long euphoric wave before sleepiness, which is hard to come by in Indicas.
