One of my favorite strains in college, because for some reason SDSU was filled with people from norcal, was GDP. This strain is nigh legendary and has always commanded a higher price than "regular" green strains. The more purple, the more expensive.
Bud structure is dense, smaller nugs. Purple calyx and orange hairs all over, it is a looker. Smell is extremely strong, with kush and berry notes.
Effects hit you quickly. THC content is usually high (17%+) but the stuff that makes this bud special is the CBD and CBN non-psychoactives and terpenes. It's awesome for sleep, but I do not recommend this strain for morning or even mid-day use. It is heavy, similar to Master Kush.
This strain varies in taste and smell depending on the season and the harvest. I've had really sweet summer buds but found the dark purple sections on winter harvests to be bitter, so inspect your winter buds and smell carefully. Otherwise, this strain kicks ass like everyone says it does.
I was slightly paranoid, but for reasons of being in public and reeking of this strain.
Very good though!
solid body high. its uplifting but if you have low tolerance to high THC levels it will knock you out

Good
this is a very good strain indeed! needs more of this in VA!!!
This stuff has a really nice, dark aroma with a grape like flavor. Pretty smooth going down. It doesn't really effect you until after your finished smoking it.
Having severe anxiety I have always gone with Indica, but never got full relief I would usually just get tired. Well GDP is the best anti-anxiety PRN out there, you are calmed down - yet functional off a few hits. Very long lasting too. I am so grateful for this amazing strain making its way to my coast.
