Golden Goat reviews

My first strain. Not too hard, great taste, and a good high.

Golden Goat is one of my all-time favorite Sativa's. It took a few years to reach the favorites spot but I doubt it'll be leaving it soon. When GG first appeared it wasn't that great a strain but in the past few years GG has become an amazing strain. GG is my go-to strain for an uplifting goofy high. I can be in a anger-driven Manic episode or be so deep in the pits from Depression (I suffer from Bipolar 1) and yet a bowl of GG will ALWAYS lift my spirits and put me into a better place. A lot of strains claim to be uplifting and euphoric to a point where one is giggly and silly and yet fail to deliver (at least in my experience they do) but GG doesn't. I used to love smoking a bowl of GG and then stocking the cooler at this 7-11 I worked for because the GG would have me actually enjoying the tedious task. I would be singing and dancing in the back or even be so silly high that I would talk to the drinks as I stocked them. Whenever my friend and I smoke GG we always end up laughing our asses off at adlibs we insert into whatever video game we happen to be playing. IMO a good cut of Golden Goat is always worth a 10/10 and even a bad cut of it is usually a 6/10 or better. I say if you can get some Golden Goat then always grab the Golden Goat.

I was already really gone when I shared a bowl with my friends, but it was nice as hell and I really enjoyed it. I should try it by itself sometime but it was awesome! No negatives from what I could tell.

I enjoyed this strain quite a lot. After about 20 minutes I felt extremely focused. I was in the shower and just wanted to stay in there forever and think and think and think. +Calm +Relaxed +Focused

This strain is pretty incredible. I'm normally a daily smoker. So when something can get me really stoned it's exciting haha. This goat will fry your brain or maybe get overly creative and you might paint a picture or take some photos or cook some strawberry toaster strudel. Anyways it's strong and potent and tasted yummy. You'll giggle and laugh. Probably not good for sleep! Good for afternoons or just when you want to feel geeked out on good vibes.

nice daytime strain but too much and you can lose your focus and reach for the munchies... i like the taste and smell very citrus driven - overall a great strain for needing to get shit done

Very powerful medication. The cut I had, high in THC and CBD, and was strong pain relief. I would not use GG if I had detail oriented work to do. Nice strain to get outside too, and go hiking. Colors are intense, and things get happy pretty quick. Enjoy.

I thought I liked Indicas for their relaxing properties, but Golden Goat and Strawberry Cough have proven otherwise. Golden Goat didn't make my muscles feel heavy, or weak in the knees, which some indicas do (and I dislike very much). Instead, symptoms of depression and irritability were gone in minutes, replaced by a cheerful, non-intrusive euphoria and a desire to explore creative avenues of expression. It really just turns a bad night into a great night. I consider myself a lightweight, and this never made me feel like I was hovering over an abyss of anxiety like, say, Death Star did. Overall, my new favorite, Strawberry Cough being a close second.
