First, a little lead-up to my review. I am a MMJ patient in FL with MS and Fibromyalgia. I just spent three days in the hospital on high dose IV steroids for an MS exacerbation called "Retrobulbar Optic Neuritis". It's an attack on the optic nerve and MS has attacked my eyes a lot over the past 20 years. It's a real bugger and I can't even begin to describe the ocular pain and intractable headaches and nausea (along with vertigo / dizziness and double-vision it causes). While in the hospital, I had ocular and nerve pain coming out of that eyeball 24/7. The hospital tried Tylenol, Ibuprofen and finally a dose of OxyContin (I don't like to take narcotics because I also have a neurogenic bowel and what narcs to do the bowel - constipation - is just a double-edged sword for me). The OxyContin could not touch my pain - it was nerve related. I needed "God's Gift" to help me out ... and boy, did it ever!
Once I was released from the hospital, I got home and was able to fire up my Volcano (I vape always) with some beautiful bud called "God's Gift". It is truly God's gift as it got rid of my pain - and I mean 90% of it - in about 20 minutes time. It slowly took that searing nerve pain going through my left eye, down my temple and jaw and around my scalp and calmed it right down. It took me through about 6 hours sleep. I am wide awake because of the high dose steroids and they are assisting with the inflammation which will hopefully get me over the hump of some of this bad pain. When the optic nerve calms down ... the pain should begin to subside.
I just have to tout this strain as a fantastic one for nerve pain. I take MMJ mostly for this reason, along with insomnia, a bit of occasional anxiety and neuropathy. It's a miracle strain and a miracle plant. I am favoriting this strain as a TOP one for nerve pain. I really love OG Platinum too ... but I think that "God's Gift" takes the win for this type of pain. If you have MS and deal with nerve pain and can get some of this delicious bud, try it. It works.
The buds themselves are beautiful and filled with terps. The flavor in the Vocano is earthy and a little sweet. One of my new favorites.
My first experience returning to the fold, this was an awesome, spectacular moment. For the first time in over two years I felt NO pain. I have since also found it's parent, Grandaddy Purple is as good or better. If you have buzzing or tingling, give this blessing a shot.
VERY DIFFICULT TO COME BY.
Wow! Perfect blend of OG and Purps. Great for relaxing, and chilling, but absolutely no couchlock. Painkilling Indica effects and a great cerebral Sativa high with no paranoia. Tastes very purple with hints of diesel, pine, and lemon. I usually have go-to morning, evening, and night-time strains, but I could be happy smoking this anytime. Excellent medical strain, but definitely not to be overlooked for recreation. Even head and body buzz. The breeder really has their shit together ... not just another in a long line of designer OG strains. VERY potent. Wow...just...WOW!
Without a doubt my favorite strain. When grown with care this medicine is the best I've tried for my combination of extreme anxiety, severe arthritis, depression, insomnia, and pain from recent spinal surgery. Even good heavy indica's can lead me into overwhelming interior dialogue, paranoia, and anxiety, but this particular strain starts with a calm euphoric head high, and spreads from fingers to toes with pain relief and tingly body buzz. If not over medicated I feel clear minded and focused on (especially creative) tasks, can interact socially, and it's wonderful for movies, reading, games, etc. If heavily medicated (before bed) I sleep pain free and my dreams are simply beautiful. Only positive thoughts and artistic enhancement. Smell is wonderful (citrus earthy musk), taste is ok, and only drawbacks are that I tend to experience dry throat and eyes after 10-30 minutes of smoking. However, that is more true of most of the high cbd strains I medicate with as well (not that g/g is high cbd, but shares some characteristics for me personally of other high cbd strains). For pure flavor and smell it's hard to beat a good blueberry or even blueberry cheese, but g/g delivers anti-anxiety and soft mood elevation without the heavy couch-lock stone of other indica's. 10 out of 10 when done right. I've had the best luck with this strain from Walingfords Truly Helpful dispensary, Dockside, and conscious care co-op.
This mix between OG Kush and Grandaddy Purp is AMAZING!!! This will knock you out quickly. Definitely not a driving weed! Smells a lot like GDP. Hits like OG.
So, the experience I had starts with being outside hitting it from a helix. All of a sudden I was on my Simba grind, Mufasa is up in the sky doing lion like things. It was incredible, until I thought I heard a car door open and shut, and footsteps coming to my back porch. I knew I was being irrational, but I couldn't help it. It was enjoyable once I got inside and got away from anything that would incite paranoia.

WOW!!! Hey kids I guess I’ve been testing to many strains lately to post any new reviews. Let’s start with Gods Gift.
1. The GDP X OG Kush is phenomenal for anyone who has chronic pain due to an injury or arthritis
2. Do Not overdose yourself until you know the strength of your flowers. GG has one of the wildest
Creep I’ve ever had. Almost as if your body is disconnected from your brain. And then you come back
down. But ‘ol Mr. THC can’t be held back anymore and you feel the “creep” coming over your body
and brain again.
3. GG is now part of my Pain Management and should be part of anyone who needs immediate relief
and has no where important to be 👍👍👍👍
Pure Grade A outdoor California grown bud that didn't look so great from the batch I got but this is absolutely a kick ass phenomenal strain. And it really hit the spot as far as indicas go. I think because I haven't had a pure indica strain in a long time and got caught up with almost hating all sativas because they tend to lack euphoria and add paranoia. So yea A+ right here.
