Actually really enjoyed this strain. Gave me a very good head high which is what I was after. Also made me feel very relaxed, so between that and the spacey feeling cartoons are a must watch when smoking this strain (preferably rick and morty)

I Actually Stumbled Upon This Strain By Sampling A Strain By The Name Of "Nuwave." Being A 80s New Wave Fan Myself I Felt Inclined To Give It A Go And Fell In Love. Very Smooth, Very REFRESHING, I Like To Think Of It Like...A Crisp Morning Dive In A Pool. LOL No Lie And So Naturally When I Found Time To Head Back NuWave Was No Longer In Stock. What To Do? So I Hit The Web And Read A Couple Articles Here And There. Some Saying NuWave Was A Hybrid With Fire OG In Its Lineage And Others Saying Its A Strain By The Name Of NuWave Going Around Thats Actually Renamed Fire OG. So I Located Some Fire OG And Bam Sure Enough....NuWave. Lol Now Thats Not To Say That NuWave Does Not Infact Exist As Much As Fire OG For Me Atleast Produces That Same Unforgettable Refreshness To It. Fire OG Is A Staple Within My Daily Lineup And Am Absolutely Delighted When Its Day Hits In The Rotation. Good Focus, Light Body (can kick at times however), Refreshing Overall Feeling And Crisp Mental Focus This Specific Batch Held A SCA Rating Of 22% And Was Consumed With One Full Drag Via Pipe. A Little High On The THC But I Feel Absolutely Nothing Other Than A Slightly Heightend Feeling Of Fresh Lightness. What can I say other then wow. This is one potent strain. My bag had some really nice sized colas in it. Light green with beautiful orange hairs mingled in. When I checked it at the dispensary the buds were loaded with tricombs with the maturity you want. The high is very nice. Euphoric and great head change that soaks into your body causing pain relief, muscle relaxation, and help with sleep.

This strain works best for me as a sleeping aid. It gives me that stoned feeling of an indica but if I'm not sleepy before smoking it is helpful for relaxing my mind. Also good for pain relief during menses. One big negative I do not like about it is that too much before bed can cause me to wake feeling drained and achy. It also dries my skin, mouth, and eyes out. Best to drink a lot of water beforehand.

I definitely overdid it the second time! Way too much! I did feel fantastic the morning after with no pain and intense focus, but the night of obese way too paranoid.

This is the first time I've posted a strain review. Why now? Because the effects of Fire OG inspired me. I've been using cannabis consistently for a couple of years, mostly to help calm my multiple sclerosis symptoms so I can get to sleep at night. I try different strains but don't often notice much difference, probably because I've built up a tolerance. But Fire OG has been different. It takes my mind into depths of self-reflection as good as any I've experienced with a psychiatrist. It feels like it opens a big pressure-release valve that lessens any anxieties or worries I've built up from the day. It takes me to places I haven't quite experienced before — but never in a way that feels out of control. It brings on a lot of creativity and introspection, but at the same time I feel like I'm able to think clearly and do things. True to its reputation, it's potent. The effects hang on for several hours. So, you have to be a little careful. But this is wonderful stuff. I would highly recommend it if you're looking for a high that can take your mind to interesting and beneficial places.

This is my go-to strain. I can smoke Fire OG when I want to stay in and relax, listen to some music or watch TV. It's also good for when I want to get stuff done around the house or go out for a walk and enjoy the desert. It's a hybrid, so it's a nice cerebral high that lasts a good 2-3 hours but doesn't make you crash as hard as some other indicas. The buds are nice and frosty with fiery red hairs (hence Fire). It smells piney/citrusy. Definitely pick some up if you find it at a dispensary.
