Great Amsterdam strain
Citrusy smell, slightly harsh smoke.
Almost instant drowsy feeling and dry eyes.
Some pain relief.
Feels really amazing. Can hear all sorts of sounds, appreciate colors. Relaxed, so content. I love this.
one of my favorite smoke, very nice growing this strain and absolutely love it.

Dutch Treat has been one of the mythical strains of marijuana for most of my adult life. This is a strain that started out in Amsterdam coffee shops, and it's still one of the most widely grown strains that I know of among amateur and enthusiast growers.

This Dutch Treat came to me as a processor's sample, and so it doesn't have quite the information that a retail-sales batch would have. I was able to see lab testing reports however - which are immensely more complete and complex than you would think - and the numbers add up. This is legitimately some 29% TTL THC content pot.

Frankly, I did not treat this delicious flower with the respect it really deserved. I smoked this as some 'go to bed' medicine at the end of a long day on my feet, doing sales consultancy for the first time in 6 years. Because I was working with weed (as a budtender), I was getting stoned all day. I vaped hash, I smoked joints, I smoked bowls, I hit an MFLB a few times for flavor tasting, and along with it all I drank about a gallon of coffee.
--
The herb had a slightly bitter, slightly chemical/diesel smell - the inside of the bag has the faintest trace of it under a fresh herb smell. The taste was very earthy, slightly herby but not particularly strong. The smoke itself was much more mellow than I expected based on appearance, smell, texture, strain and the density of smoke.

As for effect, I was asleep in moments I woke up feeling incredibly rested. I call that some potent medicine.

If you are an insomnia sufferer, SSS's Lavender is the strain you are looking for. The nugs are well-cured, on the dense side, with a light purple hue all over. It has a nice citrus scent with flowery overtones, lending it a sweet lavender scent.
But you aren't reading this for what the cannabis looked like, are you?
The heads over at SSS should rename this strain "Lavender Lullaby". I'd been unable to sleep for days when I came into the Shop and picked it up. After a few tokes from Batman, my trusty bong, I felt the silvery arms of Lavender float me away on a fresh breeze. The aches in my skull faded, and the tension in my shoulders ceased. I wasn't sleepy, but extremely relaxed, like my soul had just had a bubble bath. When it was time for bed, I closed my eyes as I hit the pillow and floated off to dreamland, where I swear to god, I dreamt I was flying on a dragon.
I'm not promising you that if you smoke Sunset Super Shop's Lavender you'll be able to dream about flying dragons through clouds made of indigo diamonds, glittering in the cosmic rays, plunging through waterfalls in a far-off-landscape...but I'm not saying it won't happen, either.
Excellent taste of fruit and pine. It's like a tropical treat for your senses. Heavy lung expansion with an uplifting experience. A+ strain. Makes me happy but cough a lot. A+ Grade Tested.
Good traditional flavor and smoke. This one seemed to give me more of a high associated with a saliva favored hybrid. It tended to make my mind wander and race a bit. But a lot of strains have that effect on me. Overall a good high but could have lasted longer. This sample was grown by Gecko Growers.
