the best bud ive ever smoked. if you see this out, get your fucking hands on it. shoots you right up to the sky and when listening to music,it seems like your the artist.
Whoo this bud is sharp and super potent! When you take a rip of this sexy woman, you get blasted by an overwhelming sweet taste and instant full body high. Maybe a little too potent for me, gives me a slight headache which takes the joy out of smoking it. I might have better luck with this strain as a concentrate. All my friends love it and it's easy to get your hands on, give it a try next time you need to refill your prescription.
One of my favorite strains of all time. Such a positive high. Durban Is one of the few strains that actually makes me want to go out and do something. Just a very outdoorsy high or functional euphoric high in my opinion. For a mood booster smoke durban.
This time smoking the Durban was much more pleasurable. I thought about my previous experience, and came to the conclusion that the environment (along with life events) contributed to my bad experience. SO after some care full thought and deciding. I found my self in a mood that would allow me to implement my idea. I wanted to ease my way into this potentially strong sativa,. The was I came up with to do so, was to take the smallest amount I probably ever have smoke in my life and put it into my essential vaaapp. Then I was going to vape it out of that with my butane torch. So I got home from school, I ate a nice sized lunch and hydrated. Then I prepared my gear. When I took the first hit i let the smoke build up in the glass vial first so I could see how much smoke i would be inhaling. I pulled the smoke and then sat for a minute or two, to allow my self to judge what level high it was going to be. After a few minutes with no real feeling there. I proceeded with the second hit. I stopped and waited to judge the buzz. It was still not where I felt I could be comfortable. So I took a third hit, I started to feel it now. This is about 15 minutes since the first hit. Now I feel it creeping on and i'm comfortable with it. I even get excited but I keep my composure and just focused on exactly how the high level was. I was satisfied after the fourth hit. All very small in comparison to say a joint hit or especially a pull off a six inch tube (like my first and bad experience). So I write this as I am feeling it. Its a good "head change" i would call it. I'm listening to irie music and enjoying it. I feel it in my eyes mostly, nothing in my body at all, and maybe a little in my head like very slight pressure in the temples, but nothing bothersome. I had two moments in the very first few minutes of actually feeling it that I would say were burst of excited and joy. Completely different from the first, which is great. I just wasn't ready, prepared or situated enough to be where I was at the first try. Two years of break is not conducive to a full bowl hit of extremely potent medicinal strength ganja. Just an FYI, before this Durban I have only ever smoked good quality "upper grade mids" and commercial. I LOVED that because I thought all weed just got you as high as hell as I did on that stuff. Then BAM "hello" I was rudely awakened with the strength of medical grade. I love it though. It just takes a lot less to put me where I want to be as compared to what I was used to. So from here on out i'm always going to approach with caution. I will ease my self into each session, until I know and am familiar with my tolerance and smoke intake level on this stuff. Here's to more enjoyable tokes to come!
I wasn't sure about this one at first. I picked up some at the suggestion of the lady helping me out at the dispensary, not really sure what to expect but hopeful that it would help keep me productive. I have a brain injury and it's already hard enough to focus, so a big plus was that this doesn't make me too tired.
The outcome after smoking tends to be rather unpredictable, at least for me. Sometimes I'm 100% motivated and all of my homework and house cleaning is done with hours to go before my wife gets home, and other times I find myself just slumped on the couch reading a good book or watching a tv show. Definitely also seems to be dependent upon the delivery method - pipe or vaporizer. Vaporizer gives me a much more stable result and has become my go-to method.
All in all I highly recommend this one! No matter how much work I get done, I'm always in a pleasant mood and my wife has commented how much happier I seem since switching from all of the pain meds I was previously on.
This is the third strain I've tried and the second Sativa. I have to say, I really enjoyed the buzz I got after vaping this!
I started off just feeling a little relaxed with a bit of a head high, but then I suddenly got very creative and managed to solve a part of my WIP novel I was previously stuck on.
Then I had to leave the house to go food shopping, which was made a lot easier because I actually had an appetite for the first time in a while, so it was easier to pick out food.
Durban Poison is a Hell of a strain. It's fairly dense, looks and smells yummy and the smoke is smooth. It helps a lot with my GAD (General Anxiety Disorder) and it helps with my clinical depression, as well. It's a very uplifting high with a small indica buzz, you tingle slightly, but also feel very aware and focused. I've noticed it makes my friends and I giggle if we are not alone and we are smoking on this strain. I feel it would be good for people who have ADD/ADHD, Anxiety, and many other things that I have listed in the "Medical Condition" tab. Overall, I rate this strain a 4/5 stars.
Very energetic. love it before a hike or a jam session. What I smoked was very earthy and a little sweet.
