While strain-hunting I saw Durban and had to buy an 8th. Stunningly fluffy green buds, covered with milky white crystals and deep orange hairs. Smells citrusy with a strong pine overtone. Effects aren't felt right away, however expect a full on cerebral high filled with positive vibes. If you smoke too much you might find this strain to be psychedelic. I was in such a good mood after I finished a bowl. Went to work and while the day was quite stressful, I had tons of energy and a great attitude. The day just seemed easy and flew on by. There's a lot of energy in this strain. While I could easily just smoke some Durban and lay back watching the gorgeous images generated behind closed eyelids, this strain makes me want to be active, go hiking or rock climbing or something. Highly recommended for physical activities, appetite stimulation, stress relief, depression, and making boring tasks seem enjoyable while maintaining enough focus and drive to get them done. I don't suffer from any prescribed pain so my experience with pain management is unknown. This strain is in regular circulation from now on. One of the best sativas I've come across which may even replace 'Jack Herer' as my new favorite flower. Good vibes!
ADHD gone with this strain. I smoked this on a fresh 1/2ft powder day skiing on the mountain and I'll just say that I've never had any spiritual experience like this before.
I love Durban Poison! It's great for patients with fatigue. It provides a creative, energetic high.

Durban Poison is my favorite strain right now. The flavor is kind of earthy and woody. It doesn't make you cough alot and doesn't leave a lingering sensation in your throat or lungs like alot of other strains do. The high is really upbeat and uplifting with no couch lock whatsoever. The actual bud was beautifully shaped and colored which it was like almost all purple in my case where you could see all the clear/milkey resin on the backdrop of this beautiful purplish hue. This bud had a lot of resin and competes with the best of strains in resin production. I rate this strain so high for its ability to uplift me, get me high while still being highly functional, its potency, its look, and how it smokes.
By far the BEST bud I have ever had! incredibly heady, great for a free afternoon!
This is a legendary strain, and it's not hard to tell why. It looks different when you see it next to other strains (it is much darker in color, and tight). It smells unique, a little musky, a little citrus-y, and a hint of mint. It tastes like nothing else, and it packs a powerful sativa punch that has you very high, but productive and engaged. This is workday weed for serious heads.
To date, this is the clearest head-high I've found. As I struggle with ADHD, I take medication in the morning that keeps me focused during the day. The problem arises in the evenings / at night, if I have an assignment that still needs FULL attention. The medication's effects are long-gone by then, so I'm now experimenting with a variety of Sativas in the evenings.
Around 8:30pm, I took quite a few heavy inhales on my vaporizer, and, within a few minutes, I couldn't wait to embark on my school paper - Something I've never said before! :) I definitely felt a burst of energy and motivation. Lastly, it's worth noting, I felt more confident in the actual writing itself; I didn't find myself second-guessing my work nearly as much as usual.
If you're looking for a dose of motivation, look no further than this strain!
Where have you been all of my life? This is my favorite sort of strain including everything from a clean taste to a long lasting uplifting high without the munchies. For me in the last 30 years this is the best of the best Sativa hybrid ever, period.
