🔥 • this review is for an 85.3%-THC Sour African/South African Skunk wax, which apparently is a cross of African Haze & AJ's Sour Diesel. [CT MMJ Sat Z, from Advanced Grow Labs] • 🔥 • almost-immediate cessation + relief from nausea & anxiety, while pain has decreased from 7 to a 4, so i can't complain; high terp-profile on (AJ's) Sour Diesel ensures a MOST-delicious flavor; and the cerebral high|euphoria makes this strain a very special treat! • 👌🏻🌌

I'm on a trip in Togo at the moment and this is the only strain I found so far. After a few minutes I started to feel the high slowly kicking in and its a quite nice feeling nit overwhelming. I would say that it smells and tastes like Africa, a but earthy, its really nice. I picked up different times and the colour changed a bit but it was always quite brown and dry but not harsh for the throat, its really smooth. After two joints the high is amazing, probably one of the best in my life, everything becomes so happy and beautiful and I'd say its really good for people who feels quite low as it is really euphoric. I have never seen this strain in Europe yet but who ever finds some I highly recommend them to try it !

*Deep, rich, heavy hitter. *Thick, rambunxious aroma. *A step above Mexican Sativa, energetic, long-lasting effects.

The most impressive part of a Kenyan strain was the amount of crystals on the flower. It actually looked like a geode in the random crevices of the bud. I concentrated some BHO from it, and the crystals were sparkling in the wax, after the butane evaporated, and it was chilling in my silicon tray. The concentrate is awesome, and it has a strong flavor of garlic to me, and a hint of a black pepper taste. It gives me a long, fairly energetic high, but as a concentrate, it's a little harsh on my lungs, not my throat though. It's an excellent strain. The only reason I know it's a Kenyan strain (African on Leafly), is because I tested it with a cannabloic fingerprint test kit. It was pretty much an exact match for the fingerprint provided in the manual for a Kenyan strain. Only after reading on Leafly did I learn the "African" strains have the highest levels of THCV, which was confirmed on the fingerprint test I did.

Although it is unfair to lump all African strains together under one category, most of them when cured and aged using traditional indigenous methods appear dark greenish brown and are often seeded. Commercial varieties which are also exported are pressed into bricks. Even though Malawi, Swaziland and various other varieties have become known in the West over the years, there are still many other strains all over Africa. I have been using mainly Ghanaian and Congolese varieties which have at least two sub types, one which has dense dark buds and the other which is a lighter and is leafier than the other variety. Both are seeded although the lighter one has less seeds which are mostly pale and non-viable. The darker variety has a spicy, musky, earthy aroma while the lighter one is fruitier. The taste of the dark one is also spicier and its aroma is stronger. The lighter grade had a smooth taste and a fresher, leafier smell. The effects of both are immediate but intensify and last about 1-2 hours. Although these are supposed to be pure Sativas, they do sometimes exhibit Indica like traits and over indulgence can cause drowsiness. Also great for those suffering from a lack of appetite. Perfect for day time use. I prefer landraces and have an interest in preserving traditional curing techniques from various parts of the world. The African varieties which I have smoked are truly some of the best strains I've sampled and should not be underestimated based on their appearance - this is not "schwag"

@astack just because there are seeds doesn't make it schwag. lots of type of cannibis don't form the standard 'bud' shape and end up unbound. could also be from not curing properly having said that, suuuper heady. similar high and light crash like hawaiian. scuba dove after rippin a few puffs and had a blasttttt
